We moved in October to a new home with lots of "potential".
We left behind a steam shower.
The End.
Seriously though, as it turns out "potential" means things can take a long time. It also means you have the opportunity to make things your very own, this part I love. {ahem, it also means it's a money pit. this part horseface does not love. womp.}
But it is all okay because we hope this is our forever home and we feel so lucky to be here.
There are many home improvements to tackle, but right off the bat, we took on a master bedroom project that is stuck in the 'before' phase. Well, technically it's stuck in the post-demo phase. In the meantime I get to share a dated bathroom with my entire family and a full bed with horseface. yikes.
I know it will be worth the wait and I count my blessings every day for these are not bad "problems" to have. And I'm most definitely enjoying researching my 'dream bathroom' - I'm specifically drawing inspiration from the images below. Now if only we can roll them into one and wave a magic wand and make it happen. But that wouldn't be any fun . . . would it?
{please. someone. wave the damn wand!}

designer Berkley Vallone via traditional home Our architect friend wasn't sure we had room for a tub in this bungalow of ours but I put up a fight and he graciously worked one into the plans. The dimensions I gave may or may not belong to this beauty from penhaglion. sorry, horseface |
isn't she lovely?
